NC GOP: Timothy Johnson wins the Vice Chairman's Race

100_7511 In a strong showing, Dr. Timothy Johnson (Chairman, Buncombe County) has defeated State GOP Vice Chairman David Sawyer.  

In a "throw the bums out" environment, this year saw the decision of a chairman who chose not to run for re-election, and the defeat of the current vice chairman. Many party activists told your blogger that they are still reeling from the unacceptable defeat at the polls, from the top of the ballot, all the way to the bottom.  

Katy's Conservative Corner thanks David Sawyer for his service and welcomes Dr. Johnson to State Party leadership.  Congratulatons to Timothy Johnson, our new NCGOP State Vice Chairman.
