NC AFP Annual "Take Back Our State" Rally Draws Thousands

AFPlogo-northcarolina They came in buses from all parts of our state.  They came with their signs of protest and they signed petitions to Governor Beverly Perdue saying "Don't Raise Our Taxes".   It was also billed as a Tea Party, designed to draw in the "Tea Party crowd", and come they did.  


Katy_and_jonathan Featured speakers included "Joe the Plumber", Jonathan Krone (the 14 year-old conservative prodigy, left with your blogger), and Raleigh's own Fox News Commentator, Mary Katharine Ham.  Your blogger circulated through the crowd, ate Eastern NC style bar-be-que, listened to the band, and overall, had a grand old time.

Kudos to the staff at the North Carolina Americans for Prosperity for making it all happen.
