Give Bush Some Credit, Please

Dr. Ada Fisher, North Carolina's  National Committee Woman to the Republican National Committee (RNC), wrote to your blogger the other day.  

She wants the media and others to stop selling short, the administration of former President George W. Bush . 

"Would someone please give the Bush Administration credit for having some forethought in stockpiling vaccines and antiviral drugs?"

Dr. Fisher added that more money for Border patrols should have been added to the so-called "Stimulus Bill". 

Terrorism takes many forms, she wrote.

"Don’t be blind sided.  Borders need better protection.   Unscreened people with contagious problems such as atypical tuberculosis, maybe swine flu and things we haven’t even thought of could be stopped or at least slowed if the impact of illegal immigration on such was appreciated...  Monies for more border patrols on all sides should have been part of the stimulus bill."
