Meanwhile, all Wake County Republicans, at their various precincts, were shown a video featuring David Robinson. Robinson is the current Wake County GOP chairman and is also one of several seeking the state post.
Update: In the video, Robinson explained the State Party process of becoming a delegate to the county, district and state conventions. Among those appearing was Rep. Skip Stam (R-Wake), and popular Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison (R).
Harrison explained why he is so beloved by nearly everyone. He stated that there are a lot of conservative Democrats that we can never count out and without whom we cannot win. He explained that, with the proper explanation of what Republicans are about, we could win them over into our column. He stressed never to be rude to anyone, in spite of their voter registration.
The election for State Chairman will be held at the North Carolina Republican Party's State convention on June 12-14 in Raleigh.
