From Land of Lincoln to Land of Obama?

We in North Carolina should probably count our blessings.  The State of Illinois is so corrupt and thus so poor that they will do anything to produce a revenue stream.  Thus, they are considering producing a "Land of Obama" license plate.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the State of Illinois has been getting 12-15 calls a day asking for a specialty license plate, commemorating the recent election of the Democrat "community organizer".

The Sun-Times article noted that "Specialty plates bring the state millions of dollars each year. An Obama plate -- priced higher than normal plates, of course -- might bring in money that could be used for any number of purposes."

The Illinois General Assembly must approve the initiative before any such plate can be approved.
