Senator John McCain will be in Fayetteville this afternoon to lead a rally, starting about 5:30. Country-music star Hank Williams, Jr will appear alongside McCain at a "Road to Victory" rally at Crown Coliseum.
WRAL.com will show the rally live on their website, and your blogger encourages everyone to check it out. If you are like KCC and can't be there to take it all in, you can enjoy it from your office, home, or wherever your laptop or hand held takes you.
Doors open at 2 p.m., and guests must arrive by 4:30 p.m. McCain is expected to appear by 5:30 p.m. Attendees should RSVP through the campaign's Web site.
Meanwhile, if you haven't already voted, like the 1 in 5 North Carolinians who have, you have until Saturday to cast your ballot early. Many more Democrats than Republicans have cast early ballots and the GOP team needs a heavy turnout from its base, plus a lot of votes from our Democrat friends, to win.
If you haven't voted, vote. Take your friends and neighbors to the polls with you.
