Anti-War Groups Angry at News and Observer

Gay_protestor_smithfield Liberals attending an anti-war protest in Smithfield last Saturday, are angry at the Raleigh News and Observer's apparent lack of coverage of their event. 

In an email obtained by Katy's Conservative Corner, writer Christian Stalberg wrote that this "non-coverage ... establishes a pattern of McClatchy systematically ignoring events that question North Carolina's involvement in the war, kidnapping and torture."

Code_pinksters Stalberg, posting on the Progressive Triangle Yahoo group, added that "the N&O is a disgrace to press freedom and serving the public's right to know.  They appear to be a puppet of the Bush regime. 

"It is tragic that McClatchy has a monopoly on newspaper readership here in North Carolina."

Over the years, many conservatives have commented that the N&O often opposes our causes, yet liberals are the folks now complaining. 

Katy's Conservative Corner was on the scene on October 27th in Smithfield and is adding more videos daily to the YouTube site.
