NC Political Connections By News 14 Carolina reporter Tim Boyum
(At my house, I cannot get this channel anymore, as we were forced to give up cable due to poor bandwidth issues and move to the better performing Directv. Sorry Tim.)
Fern Shubert Speaks for Us Published by admirers of former Senator Fern Shubert. Shubert served the ole' North State well, until stepping down from her office to make a run for Governor in 2004. While she is greatly missed from office, she knows where the "bodies are buried" and is still found digging up the truth.

Sept 12, 2007: "Rob the Communist?" Runs for Office
My dear husband, puts up with alot from me. So much so that he agreed to be my guinea pig for political ads on you tube. Here is my very first candidate "ad" for You Tube. Came out pretty well. The only problem is that he's such a conservative that he couldn't keep a straight face. ha ha. Enjoy.
NC Conservative You Tube Group Created - Anyone Can Join
On a whim, I decided to do something. Now, I'm going to see this through.
As a "You Tuber", I've long created and post videos to my account. Mostly they were of my young son.
Earlier in the evening, technically yesterday, I filmed my husband pretending to run for office.
Little did I realize that he would, without rehearsal, start spewing communist propaganda, only as a joke. (He can do this, as he has experienced the horrors of communism first hand).
He's half-Vietnamese and much of his family is still trapped behind the bamboo curtain and cannot leave. They are so oppressed that his mother and father, worked with former U.S. Senator Jesse Helms, for years, getting them out. Thus, if anyone has the right to make fun of communism, he does.
I was looking around in You Tube land and saw zero groups for North Carolina conservatives, conservative candidates, or conservative issue organizations. So, I started one.
