NC Ron Paul followers Changing Verbal Strategy
In an email obtained by Katy's Conservative Corner, written by a North Carolina supporter of Ron Paul (left), like-minded followers are instructed to change the language they use when referring to Paul and his opponents in the Presidential race.
For example, when referring to opposing candidates, the email states:
Never use this language again: "Front Runners"
Use this language instead: "Corporate Candidates
What to call Paul himself? The email states:
Well for starters how about "The People's Candidate".
The full text of the email is written below, as written, errors included.

Dear Ron Paul supporters ,
The language of American Politics is spun against us is ways that are unfamiliar and mostly invisible.
In this message I open this topic for discussion so that we can use POWERFUL language to counter this spin-doctoring; Refuse to use language that keeps us at a disadvantage. So, just for starters, lets make this minor but profound adjustment to our language:
Never use this language again: "Front Runners"
Use this language instead: "Corporate Candidates"
Why:
1) "Corporate Candidate" is honest, in two words it blows their cover. It says volumes. Giuliani, Hillary, Obama, and the rest are corporate shills bought and paid for by corporate interests and with full intention of representing only corporate interests.
2) "Front Runner" is an unfair and deceitful term. It implies "Winners" while inferring that Ron Paul is not. I refuse to say "Front Runner: again. Let's insist on calling them what they are "Corporate Candidates"
3) Lets use the term "Corporate Candidates" and most people will automatically know what it means: that they are nothing more than corporate shills. Furthermore it states this by presupposition, as a foregone conclusion and it has powerful psychological impact. Let's fight fire with fire.
4) Lets this term "Corporate Candidates" with one another, with people on the street, and especially with the media such as "call-in" talk-radio. When questioned "Why do you call them 'Corporate Candidates?" all the better. In general, keep responses sound-bitable
"Corporate Cnadidate" is honest. Giuliani and Hillary are funded by corporations."
"They cannot represent our interests."
"Ron Paul is funded by people like you and me so we can count on him to represent our interests."
One more thing. What term shall we use to refer to Ron Paul? Well for starters how about "The People's Candidate". Lets call him that until we can call him "President Paul".
More to come later....
